In art class we will do projects and activities that boost our critical thinking skills and creativity, as well as help develop our communication skills as we respond to existing artwork, the work of our peers, plan and explain our own creative process. We will focus our exploration of the art world through analyzing works of art, talking and writing about art, and making connections to our own experiences, feelings, cultures to create our own artwork. We will also learn the basic foundations of art and progress to learning new skills each year. I look forward to working with you!
